Evaluation Forms are used to get the feedback of faculty and
students.
Some activities, tours and seminars may be held jointly
with other
REU programs at Rochester, including the
McNair
Program , the REU program in Chemistry , the
REU program in Cellular and
Molecular Biology ,
the REU program in Biomechanics
and Imaging , and a planned new EU programs in Computer Science ,
and the REU program in
Institute of Optics.
REU Students may get involved in a variety of
special community outreach activities
and programs for high school teachers and students. Examples of
outreach programs
in our department include the
PREP summer program for 9th and 10th grade high school girls,
the
PARTICLE program for High School Teachers, The
Astroflow Program for Science Museums
the
Mees Observatory Tour Program, and the
LLE High School program for high school students in their junior year.
